    PRINPAG Opens Book Of Condolence For Late Edward Elorm Kobla Desewu

    The Private Newspapers and Online News Publishers Association of Ghana (PRINPAG) has announced the passing of esteemed member5 and former Executive, Mr. Edward Elorm Kobla Desewu, who died on December 25, 2025, after a short illness.

     

    Mr. Desewu, Founder and Managing Editor oft The Economy Times Newspaper, was a respected journalist with over two decades of service, known for his contributions to financial literacy, economic reporting, and industrial communication.

     

    A Book of Condolence will be opened at the PRINPAG Secretariat (Kokomlemle, Adjacent Movie House plaza) from December 30, 2025, to January 1, 2026, between 10:00am and 4:00pm daily.

     

    Members, colleagues, and sympathizers are invited to sign and pay their respects. The National Executive Committee has urged all members to remember the bereaved family in prayers and offer support.

     

     

    Update On Funeral Arrangements: 

     

    The family of the late Mr Desewu has announced the final funeral rites and burial schedule as follows:

     

    The body will be collected and brought home at Nsakina Peace Village on Friday, January 9, 2026, from 4pm.

     

    The funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at Nsakina, followed by transportation to his hometown, Tegbi, in the Volta Region, for burial.
