In a scathing critique, Dr. Solomon Owusu, a prominent figure based in the USA, has called for the immediate recovery of missing excavators, lambasting the authorities for their seeming inability to tackle the issue.
According to Dr. Owusu, the persistent disappearance of excavators under both the previous and current governments is a stark indictment of the country’s leadership.
“It’s very shameful,” Dr. Owusu lamented, highlighting the embarrassing trend of excavators going missing under the watch of security agencies.
“Excavators got missing under the watch of the military during the previous government, and now, excavators are getting missing under the watch of the police during this ‘reset’ government. How?”
Dr. Owusu expressed frustration that despite the change in government, the problem persists, suggesting that there might be a deeper issue at play.
“I’m not sure if there’s ‘excavator missing spirit’ in Ghana, working within both NPP and NDC,” he quipped, emphasizing the need for accountability and action.
The outspoken critic has now turned his attention to President John Mahama, urging him to take swift and decisive action to recover the missing excavators.
“Prez Mahama, please take action on this matter immediately, because it can create a lasting and unforgettable mark on your administration,” Dr. Owusu implored.
In particular, Dr. Owusu demanded that Hannah Bissiw and the Police Commander responsible for investigating the missing excavators be held accountable for their failure to produce results.
“Hannah Bissiw and the Police Commander should be forced to ‘vomit’ the missing excavators immediately,” he demanded. “We can’t continue to tolerate this nonsense.”
Dr. Owusu’s call to action underscores the growing public frustration with the authorities’ handling of the issue, and it remains to be seen how the government will respond to these demands.
