Eni Ghana emerged as a dominant force at the 9th Ghana Energy Awards, held at the Labadi Beach Hotel, with its Managing Director, Maurizio Pinna, receiving the coveted CEO of the Year award.
The recognition of Mr. Pinna stood out as one of the evening’s defining moments. His leadership has been instrumental in positioning Eni Ghana as a key player in the country’s upstream oil and gas sector.
He was celebrated for steering the company with strategic vision, operational excellence, and a strong commitment to advancing Ghana’s energy agenda.
Eni Ghana itself also secured the prestigious Upstream Company of the Year award, affirming its reputation for innovation in exploration and production, as well as its consistent contributions to national energy development.
The dual honors CEO of the Year for Mr. Pinna and Upstream Company of the Year for Eni Ghana underscore the company’s growing influence and leadership within Ghana’s energy sector. They highlight both the strength of its corporate performance and the executive direction guiding its future growth.
Organised by the Energy Media Group in partnership with the Ministry of Energy and Green Transition, the awards ceremony brought together industry leaders under the theme “Repositioning the Energy Sector as a Pillar of National Development.” While the event celebrated achievements across petroleum, power generation, renewables, and energy efficiency, Eni Ghana’s success was a clear testament to its pivotal role in shaping Ghana’s sustainable energy future
