On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the June 4 Revolution, my constituency NDC Executive and I hosted the *24 surviving Cadres of the Revolution* to a special lunch at the Royal Masito Hotel in Mepe.
We were the richer for their insightful pieces of advice, shared experiences and perspectives on how to build an even more formidable party and progressive community.
My appeal for a *Cadres Advisory Council to guide me in the discharge of my duties* was quickly and warmly agreed to and for this I am deeply grateful.
I did also take the opportunity to announce my latest initiative which is a *free medical care programme for all surviving Cadres in North Tongu for the rest of their lives here on Earth where we shall fully sponsor the treatment of all medical conditions at the Battor Catholic Hospital.*
May the lessons and ideals of the Revolution continue to reflect in our service to the people.
